Now in its 5th year the run has grown from 80 vehicles in the first year to over 125 last year. It is on course to well exceed that in 2009 with the percentage of motorbikes growing each year.  There is always a good variety of vehicles dating from pre-war to early eighties.

This year’s charities are:

The Rowan’s Hospice.

Naomi House Children’s Hospice.

Diabetes UK – Hayling Island Group.

Havant Women’s Aid.

This year’s route has been planned with motorcycles in mind and will be approximately 55 miles around Hampshire, starting from Havant Civic Offices and ending at Fort Purbrook the historic Victorian fort overlooking Portsmouth and now home to the Peter Ashley Activity Centre.

Further details and application forms can be obtained from,

Anne Thurlow, Mayor’s Secretary on 023 9244 6152
